CGC receives ISO certifications for another three years
The three IMS certifications re-confirm CGC’s compliance to work processes and operational standards
Consolidated Gulf Company (CGC), Qatar’s leading technology, engineering and mobility company with overseas business interests, has received the ISO re-certifications for its wide range of solutions and services. Valid for three years, the Integrated Management System, IMS, certifications include the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008, Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2004 and Occupational Health and Safety Management System OHSAS 18001:2007.
Tawfeeq Salem, Chief Financial Officer, CGC, expressed satisfaction over the continuation of the IMS certifications. He stated, “The latest achievement once again proves our sustained efforts, commitment and conformity to the best practices, upgraded capabilities and adherence to the requirement of the international principles and standards. The re-certifications are the result of a thorough assessment and auditing of CGC’s entire work processes and operational standards. The certification agency, Velosi Quality Management International Ltd, found CGC in compliance with the requirements of quality, environment, occupational health and safety norms concerning its all stakeholders.
These three quality certifications cover CGC's diversified solutions and service portfolio, including consultancy, front-end design & detailed design, engineering, procurement, supply, installation, commissioning, operations & maintenance of products, systems and integrated solutions, and other associated services for telecom, ELV, enterprise communications, networking, surveillance, security and radio communication and multidisciplinary engineering projects, business automation, e-Business, CAD, 3D Modeling and GIS services as well as distribution, retail and service of electronic and technology products and solutions.
CGC has been an ISO certified company since 2006. Moving forward, it upgraded its work processes to achieve the three quality certifications in the year 2010. And CGC received re-certifications to all the three international standards in the latest assessment by Velosi.
